    Draymond Green.

Draymond Green's 'The Draymond Green Show" podcast has become one of the most popular basketball shows on the internet. The Golden State Warriors forward is known for being outspoken and providing his unfiltered opinion regarding the happenings around the NBA.

During a recent interview with NBA Insider Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson , Kevon Looney confirmed that Green is being himself when hosting his show. Looney noted how Green doesn't say anything that he wouldn't be comfortable saying to somebody's face.

"Anything that he’ll say on the podcast, he’ll say to you. So it’s not like he’s trying to do anything, he’s being himself," Looney said. "That’s what we expect from him. I like to hear him talk basketball and make critiques, but when I have something that I need to work on I can call Draymond for advice. So something on his podcast that he always does is not surprising anybody and he’s just being himself and that’s what we’re expecting him to do.”

Looney's comments likely confirm what most fans have been thinking. Green has been outspoken and highly competitive throughout his career. His four NBA championships and role on one of the greatest dynasties in history provide him with the cache to be taken seriously when he speaks. Looney is also well-positioned to speak on Green's personality after spending the past nine years with him on the Warriors roster.

Furthermore, Green steers clear of any controversial narratives. He discusses what he sees on the floor and what he believes to be true. He isn't pandering for clicks or the hope of going viral.

Nevertheless, the veteran forward has received significant pushback for hosting his podcast during the season. During the 2022 NBA playoffs, Green resisted those criticisms, declaring that he would continue producing the podcast regardless of how people viewed it.

Green struggled with multiple issues last season, severing two separate suspensions that limited his ability to help the Warriors as they stuttered into a play-in spot. Steve Kerr and his coaching staff will undoubtedly be hoping that Green finds a way to remain on the floor for the upcoming season. If he can do that and play at a high level, whatever he says on his podcast next season will likely be a secondary thought.
