One of the biggest stories of the WNBA season has been the perceived feud between Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.

While both players have been adamant neither has a problem with the other, national media pundits have made it seem like there’s a bitter rivalry between the two — with many analysts doing their best to pit both players against each other.

But on the debut episode of Reese’s podcast “Unapologetically Angel,” the LSU alum finally addressed the elephant in the room and detailed how things have been behind the scenes for her amid all of the drama she’s been at the center of.

“I think it’s really just the fans — her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans — that are like…they ride for her,” Reese said . “And I respect that, but sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes to it, and I don’t believe she stands on any of that."

She then detailed some disturbing allegations of fan harassment.

“When it comes to death threats, like I’m talking about people coming down to my address, follow me home — it’s come down to that," Reese explained. "Multiple occasions people have made AI pictures of me naked. They have sent it to my family members…it sucks to see that and it’s really hard that I have to go through, but at the end of the day, it’s a game that we do both love, but there is no hate (on my end).”

Clark and Reese are 1-2 in the WNBA Rookie of the Year race and the pair even played together as teammates on the WNBA All-Star team. Both have been nothing but complimentary of each other this season, which makes Reese’s accusations even more difficult to hear.

Head-to-head this season, Clark has gotten the better of their exchanges on the court.

Clark’s Fever are 3-1 against Reese’s Sky and the Iowa alum has bested Reese in scoring (18.9 points per game to 13.3), assists (8.4 per game to 1.8), steals (1.4 per game to 1.3), field-goal percentage (.425 to .384) and three-point percentage (.343 to .154) while Reese has the edge in rebounding (13.2 to 5.8 per game).
