The Pac-12 may be essentially defunct, but that doesn't mean late-night West Coast college football won't deliver the drama each week.

Two former Pac-12 teams made history for their respective programs, getting crucial wins early in the season.

The Oregon Ducks and Boise State Broncos traded leads all night and were deadlocked late in the fourth quarter.

However, Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel ultimately led his team down the field in the final minutes to secure a game-winning field goal as time expired.

The win marks the first time in program history that Oregon has beaten Boise State. The Ducks were 0-3 entering Saturday's matchup.

Up 30-3 midway through the third quarter, ASU's defense seemed to relax too much in the second half, allowing Mississippi State to put up 20 quick points.

Ultimately, the Sun Devils escaped with the 30-23 victory — its first over an SEC foe in program history. The deciding score for ASU wound up being a second-quarter strip-sack fumble recovered for a touchdown by big man C.J. Fite.
