Simone Biles had priceless reaction to husband Jonathan Owens' TD vs. Titans

On a fourth-and-13 early in the third quarter, the Tennessee Titans sent punter Ryan Stonehouse out to kick the ball away to a struggling Bears offense.

But Chicago’s special teams unit had other plans.

As Stonehouse gathered in the snap, defensive lineman Daniel Hardy burst through the Titans’ offensive line, reached out his hand and blocked the punt. With the ball loose on the field, safety Jonathan Owens, the husband of 11-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles, picked it up and raced 20 yards into the end zone for a touchdown.

As excited as Bears fans at Soldier Field were about Owens’ heads-up play, Biles was arguably more hyped as she tweeted a five-word reaction to what she witnessed.

The touchdown was the second of Owens’ career (he scored on a fumble recovery with the Green Bay Packers last season), and it pulled the Bears from a two-touchdown deficit to within 17-10 with a quarter-and-a-half to play.

Biles was not in attendance for Sunday’s game as she, along with USA Gymnastics teammates Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera, prepares for the Gold Over America Tour , which kicks off next week.

The GOAT tour, which Biles has described as a gymnastics version of “Dancing on Ice” with “high-level gymnastics and good music,” will visit more than 30 U.S. cities and run through Nov. 3.

Owens was granted permission from the Bears to take some time off from training camp to travel overseas and watch Biles compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. His social media is littered with posts gushing over Biles’ performances. Now, it looks like she’s returning the favor.
