Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen dives in for a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals

In a Week 1 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen injured his non-throwing hand. However, he insists it's not a big deal.

"Just trying to be as normal as possible," Allen said in a news conference following Tuesday's practice. "I felt like I threw it well today and was able to do all the things, so, ready to go."

According to Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com, Allen had his left hand taped after he hurdled over Cardinals safety Budda Baker for a six-yard touchdown.

Per Alec White of the team website, Bills head coach Sean McDermott has passed along that team doctors have medically cleared Allen to play Thursday in a road game against the Miami Dolphins.

It appears the 28-year-old QB is exercising caution, though. Jon Scott of WGRZ-TV in Buffalo shared a clip of Allen wearing a glove during Tuesday's practice.

Allen indicated he's still determining whether he will wear the glove vs. the Dolphins on Thursday.

"I've done it a long time ago, a couple of cold games," Allen said. "So, it's not anything that's completely new to me. But just there for a little extra help."

Whether Allen wears the glove or not, he should be fine against Miami. According to Stathead , the former first-round pick is 10-2 in 12 regular-season games against the Dolphins and has completed 66.3% of his passes for 3,363 yards, 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions in that space.

Allen looked sharp during the home win against the Cardinals. In the 34-28 victory , he completed 18-of-23 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 39 yards and two TDs on nine carries.
