Miami Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright (25) celebrates after scoring a touchdown.

The NFL returns with a star-studded matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills on "Thursday Night Football." We'll be locked into this AFC battle no matter what, but we're interested in spicing things up a bit with a same-game parlay for the Week 2 opener. Let's get to the picks.

    'TNF' SGP

Leg 1: Bills alternate spread +7.5

We're not confident enough to bet this spread, but what we are confident in is Josh Allen not getting blown out by this team. In 12 career starts against the Dolphins, Allen is 10-2 with the losses coming by four and two points, respectively. Miami will be without Raheem Mostert in the game, and De'Von Achane is a game-time decision. If Achane can't go, the Dolphins will likely struggle to run the ball with Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright.

The Dolphins have an explosive passing attack, but they won't be as hard to contain if they don't pose a threat in the running game.

Leg 2: Josh Allen 250+ passing yards

Allen exposes this Dolphins secondary nearly every time these two teams meet. Here are Allen's passing totals in his last four starts against Miami: 359, 320, 304, 400. His passing yards prop is lower than usual because the Bills deployed a run-first approach in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals, but this coaching staff is going to let Allen air it out in a matchup he typically dominates.

Leg 3: Jaylen Wright anytime touchdown

The Dolphins might be without Mostert and Achane on 'TNF,' and even if Achane can suit up, he won't receive his normal workload as he deals with an ankle injury. Sportsbooks seem to believe Wilson will get more work as a fill-in, but Wright is much more explosive. The rookie fits this offensive system better than Wilson does, and Mike McDaniel will gravitate toward that speed and big-play ability.

Put it all together, and you get a +493 SGP on FanDuel. Let's cash!

Boise State, three other schools to join Pac-12 — The Pac-12 isn't dead just yet. Four schools — Boise State, Fresno State, Colorado State and San Diego State — will depart the Mountain West Conference to join the Pac-12 in 2026. They will join Oregon State and Washington State in the depleted conference, but the Pac-12 will need to add two more schools to reach the NCAA minimum requirement. Boise State is a -175 favorite to win the Mountain West this year.

A'Ja Wilson breaks WNBA single-season scoring record — Caitlin Clark has been stealing all the WNBA headlines with her record-breaking performances seemingly every game, but Wednesday night was Wilson's time to make some history of her own . The two-time WNBA MVP scored 27 points against the Indiana Fever to reach 956 on the season, breaking Jewell Lloyd's previous single-season record of 939. Wilson is +380 to win WNBA Finals MVP.

Bowden Frances's near no-hitter turns into a disgusting bad beat — Frances took a no-hitter and a 1-0 lead against the New York Mets into the ninth inning on Wednesday night. Then, disaster struck. Francisco Lindor ended the no-no with a solo home run to tie the game, and the Mets piled on with five more runs in the top of the ninth to take a 6-1 lead out of nowhere. Of course, the Blue Jays added a run in the bottom of the ninth to cash the over 7.5 and crush under bettors everywhere. Talk about a bad beat.
