Washington Nationals starting pitcher Mitchell Parker.

Another 1-2 mark on Wednesday gave us our second straight losing day in strikeout props, so we're looking to bounce back with a better performance on Thursday. Let's check out our three favorite K props for the MLB slate.

Mitchell Parker over 4.5 Ks (-152 FanDuel )

Marlins at Nationals, 6:45 p.m. ET

Parker has gotten knocked around over the last month, but he's been successful at forcing swings and misses even if he doesn't pitch that many innings. The Washington Nationals left-hander has gone over this line in six straight starts despite failing to reach the fifth inning in three of them. The Miami Marlins pose a solid matchup, too. The Marlins are the most aggressive team at the plate in MLB, and they have the third-highest strikeout rate against lefties this month (33.6 percent).

Nestor Cortes over 5.5 Ks (-118 FD )

Red Sox at Yankees, 7:15 p.m. ET

You might think this is a foolish bet based on how Cortes has been pitching lately. The New York Yankees southpaw has gone under this line in four straight starts, but this is a great bounce-back spot against a Boston Red Sox lineup with the highest strikeout rate in MLB against lefties this season (28.1 percent). In 86 combined plate appearances against Cortes, current Red Sox hitters have a 29.1 percent K rate.

    Kumar Rocker 6+ Ks (+135 DraftKings )

Rangers at Mariners, 9:40 p.m. ET

Rocker will be making his MLB debut on Thursday night, and we're looking to cash in on his strikeout props before the sportsbooks adjust. The former Vanderbilt standout throws hard and has a nasty, wipeout slider that will make even the best hitters look foolish. Rocker averaged 13.5 strikeouts per nine innings in the minor leagues this season, and he racked up 18 Ks over his last 10.0 innings of work in AAA. He couldn't ask for a better matchup to start his career, either, as the Seattle Mariners have the highest strikeout rate against righties this season (27.4 percent).
