    Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell.

No player has benefited more from Caitlin Clark's arrival than Kelsey Mitchell.

The seventh-year Fever guard is enjoying career-highs in points (19.6), 3PM (2.8 per game) and field goal percentage (46.7) since Clark became her backcourt partner. Even her shot attempts have gone up from 13.9 last season to a career-high 15.4, a surprising jump in light of Clark's arrival and the second-year leap taken by Aliyah Boston.

Most of all, Mitchell is finally part of a winning team. In her first six years, the Fever had a combined 49-149 record while missing the playoffs each season. Now, she is part of a blossoming Big 3 with Clark and Boston that could pose a legitimate threat to the dominance of the Aces and Liberty.

The chemistry between Clark and Mitchell — the only duo in the league to each average over 2.8 3PM a game — was again evident Sunday in the Fever's 110-109 win over the Wings. With 2:10 left, Indiana iced the game when Clark found Mitchell with a beautiful bounce pass for a critical three. The play typified how Mitchell and Clark have fed off each other for the entire year, especially the latter who is already facing double teams as a rookie and relies on Mitchell to make big shots down the stretch.

And to Mitchell's credit, she has been coming through in the clutch.

After Sunday's win — which saw both her and Clark make six threes apiece — Mitchell was asked if she and her rookie teammate had discussed a nickname for their dynamic duo.

"No, not yet," Mitchell responded . "We'll figure out one. C² and something else, maybe? I don't know yet. Maybe if y'all find something, let time know [ laughs ]."

    Fans suggest nicknames

Some fans on social media have floated the name "Splash Sisters" as an homage to the former Warriors duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, who similarly bombarded threes together. Another fan suggested "The Equation, E = MC²" as in "Equation(E) = Mitchell(M)/Caitlin Clark(C²)." One fan floated "Swish Sisters" as a reference to the sound the ball makes when they drain long-distance shots.

While Clark and Mitchell finalize a nickname, their head coach, Christie Sides, is thrilled to have two of the best shooters in the league at her disposal, especially in clutch moments.

"Those two can hit such big shots. There's ice in their veins," Sides said after Sunday's win.
