Packers QB Malik Willis had disgusting reason for not passing vs. Colts

Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis had just 12 completions for 122 yards and one touchdown in the team's 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2. Willis was ultra-efficient in the victory, however, as he recorded only 14 pass attempts.

He and Packers head coach Matt LaFleur explained after the contest that there was a very good reason why the third-year signal-caller didn't throw on one particularly obvious passing situation — a third-and-10 late in the second quarter: center Josh Myers threw up on the ball.

According to a report by ESPN's Rob Demovsky , Myers said that he's thrown up in games before and did so as recently as Green Bay's Week 1 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. Demovsky added that the fourth-year Ohio State product said he'd never vomited on the ball right before a snap until Sunday.

"I tried to lean over," Myers said, per Demovsky. "Dang, I'm going to have to apologize for that one. That was probably pretty gross."

According to the insider, the Week 2 tilt at Lambeau Field was played in 85-degree weather, which was the second-hottest game-time temperature at the venue. Lambeau Field has been called the "Frozen Tundra" for years.

Whether it's due to hot weather, nerves or another reason, professional athletes occasionally lose their lunch right in the middle of a game.

Ironically, it was just one month ago when LaFleur responded to a question from reporters regarding who the team's No. 1 wideout was with this viral answer.

"I want to vomit every time I hear No. 1 receiver. It drives me crazy," LaFleur told reporters . "That's something you guys talk about. I think we've got a bunch of them."
