Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis.

Green Bay Packers center Josh Myers said following Sunday's 16-10 win in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts that he owed quarterback Malik Willis an apology for vomiting on the footbal l right before a third-and-10 snap late in the second quarter. Now, Willis is the one who's saying he's sorry to Myers.

"I told him sorry a bunch of times because I think he’s getting a lot of flak. He was working so hard, he threw up," the backup signal-caller said, according to a report by Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith . "A lot of stuff is going through your mind when you’re throwing up and one of them’s not football."

Willis said that given the circumstances, his teammate did a great job finishing the play. When he saw the vomit come out, however, he knew he'd have to call an audible, saying "I just couldn't (throw it). It was wet."

"I didn’t know whether it would get snapped or not," the 2022 draft pick said. "He jumped straight into blocking. He did a great job. I was surprised he got the ball off, and then he started blocking. It was awesome."

Willis finished the game 12-of-14 for 122 yards and one touchdown. Myers played all 70 of the team's offensive snaps.

According to a report by ESPN's Rob Demovsky , Myers said that he's thrown up in games before and did so as recently as Green Bay's Week 1 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. Demovsky added that the fourth-year Ohio State product said he'd never vomited on the ball right before a snap until Sunday.
