    Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt.

Fox Sports college football analyst and color commentator Joel Klatt clearly isn't a fan of the AP top 25 college football rankings.

A few weeks ago, he called the AP Poll voters "terrible" for lower-than-expected rankings for Tennesee, USC and Miami.

Now, Klatt is taking offense on behalf of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Despite a 3-0 start with a win over Colorado and a massive 34-3 win over a usually-game Northern Iowa team, the AP ranks the Huskers at just No. 22 overall.

Klatt clearly thinks Matt Rhule's squad deserves to be ranked higher. He once again trashed the AP Poll on his show, " The Joel Klatt Show ".

“The AP voters have done a complete disservice to Nebraska. The AP Poll is terrible. It is garbage,” Klatt said ( h/t On3 ). “Stop looking at the AP Poll. They have no idea what they’re doing. They move teams up and down just based on their preconceived notions and never adjust their preconceived notions.”

While Nebraska is 3-0, it's not like the Huskers have been through a gauntlet. Colorado was their most high-profile opponent so far but the Buffaloes are more hype than substance. Still, the Huskers have beaten all their opponents by at least 18 points, and with freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola looking like the real deal, there is reason to believe that Nebraska could be closer to the top 10 than the back half of the top 25.

Is Nebraska better than 2-1 LSU checking in at No. 16? Perhaps. How about 2-1 Michigan checking in at No. 18? Sure, the Wolverines are the defending national champions but they just got boat raced by Texas and they don't seem anywhere near the top team they were over the past few seasons.

It's worth noting that the Huskers do have a chance to prove themselves a bit more this weekend. They'll take on No. 24 Illinois in a night game in Lincoln that is sure to be intense.

We should drop out of the 25 now. We are overhyped, again.
