Watch: Keegan Bradley sinks long birdie on 13th hole at Presidents Cup

After a decade-plus hiatus, Keegan Bradley seems poised to make a triumphant return at the 2024 Presidents Cup.

On hole No. 13 at Royal Montreal, Bradley sank a 35-foot birdie, playing the right-to-left break perfectly. He then pumped his fist and gave his teammate, Wyndham Clark, a high five. After making a shot like that, who could blame him?

Bradley, 38, last played in the 2013 Presidents Cup and hasn't participated in the Ryder Cup since 2014. Per Adam Schupak of USA Today's Golfweek, he recently admitted he didn't think he would play in either event again.

However, Bradley has revived his career in 2024, climbing to No. 13 in the world. After winning the BMW Championship in August, American Jim Furyk named him a co-captain for the Presidents Cup.

"To be back here a decade later, it's really been a special week," Bradley told Golfweek. "I look around at the rooms at dinners and stuff, and there's nobody there I was on these other teams with, and Jim was playing the last time I was out here. I want to prove to these guys that their captain can still play."

Bradley may already be making an impression. He and Clark hold a one-hole lead over Taylor Pendrith and Christiaan Bezuidenhout in the first round of the four-day event. The Americans have won three of five four-ball matches thus far.
