Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) hands off to running back Derrick Henry (22).

The Baltimore Ravens (2-2) routed the Buffalo Bills (3-1), 35-10, on "Sunday Night Football," and it was thanks to two players: quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry.

However, it wasn't too surprising given the fact that the Ravens' offensive identity to begin the year has been leaning on their two-time NFL MVP and two-time NFL rushing yards and touchdowns leader.

Sunday night was no different, as Henry rushed for 199 yards, which included a franchise-record 87-yard touchdown , and Jackson added another 54 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

After yet another dominant rushing performance by both players, Henry has the most rushing yards in the league (480), while Jackson ranks ninth with 308 yards.

There is still a lot of season left, but if both players continue on the pace that they are on, they could make NFL history.

According to NFL senior researcher Tony Holzman-Escareno, Jackson and Henry could become the first quarterback-running back teammate duo in the Super Bowl era to each rank in the top 10 in rushing in the same season.

That isn't difficult to imagine since Henry's rushing total has increased every week this season and he believes he's finally proving his doubters wrong.

"If today doesn't show [you] that I'm used to it [and] I'm comfortable, then I don't know what else to say," Henry said , via Kevin Patra of NFL.com. "It's been fun. We didn't start the way we wanted to, but like I told those guys, this is why I came here, because of the culture. Our back is against the wall [at] 0-2, [but] we just kept believing; we kept fighting, and now we're back where we want to be, and let's just keep building on this one in all three phases."

That isn't to say he will top his 199-yard rushing total next week, but he has another favorable matchup against the Bengals (1-3), nonetheless.

Cincinnati is allowing the seventh-most rushing yards per game (145.5) in the league, which sets up what could be yet another dominant day on the ground for Henry and Jackson.
