    Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels emerged as the favorite to claim Offensive Rookie of the Year Award honors as he produced stellar numbers while guiding the Washington Commanders to three straight wins and a 3-1 record.

Per Nick Kosko of On3, former NFL player and current analyst Damien Woody shared some high praise for Daniels during Monday's edition of the ESPN "Get Up" program.

"Jayden Daniels is the best quarterback in the NFC right now," Woody directly said. "I want to repeat again : Jayden Daniels is the best quarterback in the NFC right now. Who’s playing better than Jayden Daniels in the NFC right now? ...Nothing seems to bother him. He’s accurate, he’s athletic, he’s cool in the pocket and all that playing experience is playing out on the field right now."

The stats show Woody may not have overstated just how well Daniels played across the season's first four weeks. According to Pro Football Reference, Daniels ended the weekend leading the NFL among qualified players with an 82.1 completion percentage on the campaign. He's tied for fourth with a 73.4 adjusted QBR and third with a 107.4 passer rating, and he's tossed three touchdown passes with just a single interception.

Additionally, StatMuse shows that Daniels leads the NFL among quarterbacks with four rushing touchdowns and is second among signal-callers with 218 rushing yards.

"Every team in the National Football League is trying to find the next Jayden Daniels," former NFL head coach and current analyst Rex Ryan added during the "Get Up" segment. "I’m telling you, that’s the prototype that’s playing in this league now. The great mobility, the arm talent and the poise. That’s the answer. ...It’s not just the pocket passers anymore. You’re looking for the dual-threat guys like a Jayden Daniels."

As of Monday morning, DraftKings Sportsbook listed Daniels as the betting favorite at -120 odds to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award this season.

For a piece published Sunday night, ESPN's Dan Graziano wrote that it's "not an overreaction" to say Daniels could be part of Most Valuable Player conversations through January if he "keeps delivering with his arm and legs and (Washington) finds its way into the playoffs."

The Commanders next host the 1-3 Cleveland Browns this coming Sunday. On Monday, DraftKings Sportsbook had Washington as a three-point favorite for that matchup.
