    Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Coming off of a 42-14 thumping of the Arizona Cardinals, the Washington Commanders could not have envisioned a better start to their season thus far.

The Commanders have started the season with a 3-1 record, and a huge reason for their success is rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Daniels has done nothing but impress through four weeks. He's led Washington to its best start since 2011 and isn't showing any signs of slowing down.

After Week 4, Daniels holds the record for the highest completion percentage through the first four games of the season in NFL history (82.1%)

Additionally, in Week 4, Daniels became the first quarterback in NFL history to complete 85% of passes in back-to-back games.

Not only is Daniels setting records, but so is the Washington offense in general. A touchdown from Jeremy McNichols in the second quarter marked Washington's 16th straight scoring drive, something that is just unheard of in the NFL.

The young QB has certainly earned the respect of star receiver Terry McLaurin.

"His preparation, the way he attacks practice, the way he is starting to conduct film sessions at the end of the week for the receivers and the tight ends. It’s no surprise when he goes out there and he executes at a high level," McLaurin said, per NBC Sports.

The duo of Daniels and McLaurin connected on a touchdown pass for the second straight week against the Cardinals. McLaurin has gotten going over the last two weeks, totaling eleven catches for 152 yards and two touchdowns.

Daniels and company will look to continue Washington's quest for its first division title and playoff appearance since 2020 against the Cleveland Browns in Week 5.
