Four-star DL Floyd Boucard commits to USC

Four-star defensive lineman Floyd Boucard has committed to play for the USC Trojans. Previously pledged to the Oklahoma Sooners, the 6-foot-3, 315-pound DL flipped his commitment to USC.

Boucard was born in Montreal and grew up playing hockey. However, he moved to the United States and began playing football during his freshman year in high school, rapidly developing into one of the most coveted defensive tackles in the 2025 recruiting class.

Rated by Rivals as the No. 17 DL in the 2025 cycle, he began his prep career in Mobile, Ala., playing for Mobile Christian High School. In his junior campaign at Mobile Christian, he put together an impressive stat line, with 85 tackles, including 27 tackles for loss and 11 quarterback sacks. He also took occasional snaps on offense as a running back and tight end.

He transferred to Miami Central High School in Florida ahead of his senior season.

USC defensive line coach and recruiting phenom Eric Henderson is the primary USC representative responsible for Boucard's recruitment.

Scouting director Andrew Ivins of 247Sports characterizes Boucard as "a spry mover" for an athlete of his size, who is "quick to fire out of his stance." Ivins views him as a "potential multi-year starter at the Power Four level."

USC's 2025 recruiting class, headlined by five-star quarterback Julian "Ju Ju" Lewis , is now ranked the No. 10 class for the 2025 cycle.
