San Antonio Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama.

As the NBA prepares for Year 2 of Victor Wembanyama, at least three players should be wary, as the Spurs prodigy has placed them on poster alert.

In an interview with CBS Sports' Ashley Nicole Moss , the 7-footer named the three players he wants to dunk on in the 2024-25 season.

"The best defenders would be the biggest challenge, so that would be Rudy Gobert, I think Kawhi [Leonard] would be, because all these guys I respect so much on the defensive end that it would be incredible to dunk on them," Wemby said. "So I'd say Rudy, Kawhi and a third one would be Jonathan Isaac. I think [Isaac's] a really, really underrated defender."

To Wembanyama's point, Isaac is indeed an underrated defender. The Magic forward was in the running for an All-Defensive team nod last year but did not reach the threshold of 65 games to qualify for the accolade. In the 58 games he played, the Magic were among the best defensive units in the league, finishing with the third-best defensive rating (110.8) behind only the Timberwolves (108.4) and the Celtics (110.6).

As for Leonard and Gobert, both players have won multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards. All things considered, it would be impressive for Wembanyama to successfully posterize his three desired targets.

In his rookie year, the Frenchman caught his fair share of bodies, but none were as memorable as his one-handed jam on Rockets star Alperen Sengun during a game in March.

During the first half of the season, Wembanyama was used more as a stretch by coach Gregg Popovich, who started Zach Collins at the center position. The idea behind the move was to protect Wembanyama from the physicality of the NBA. However, he was way more aggressive in the second half of the season upon moving to the five.

Wembanyama is heading into the 2024-25 season weighing 235 pounds , which marks an increase of 25 pounds from his listed weight in 2023-24. The additional bulk could be an ominous sign for his opponents.
