New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (8) during the first half of the game against the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium.

Aaron Rodgers was born to throw the Hail Mary ball.

It's a prayer that Rodgers has had answered quite a few times in his long and historic NFL career. Having a "Hail Mary" end up as a touchdown once is a miracle, thus the name.

Rodgers, somehow and someway, completed his fourth on "Monday Night Football" against the Bills.

He found Allen Lazard on the final play of the second quarter, pulling the Jets within 20-17 at halftime.

How does Rodgers keep doing it?

Part of it is skill. It's been proven that Rodgers has the ability to put both the necessary height and distance on the football that most quarterbacks just can't.

Ironically, right before his latest Hail Mary make, the "Monday Night Football" broadcast was discussing his ability to do just that. And then it happened again.

It would be easy to say that the rest of it is simply luck, but how is it possible for lightning to strike four times?

Rodgers truly is the king of the Hail Mary.
