Look out: Jordan Love and the Packers are feeling good

It was almost a perfect game for Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers on offense.

Yes, he finished with an interception to his name, but that was on a play where his wide-open receiver, Bo Melton, tripped and fell on the slick Lambeau Field grass. The ball ended up in the hands of Arizona Cardinals cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, but had Melton stayed on his feet, it would have been a perfect throw and another competition for Love.

Even with the interception, Love finished Sunday's 34-13 Packers win over the Cardinals with a 119.5 passer rating on 22-of-32 passing for 258 yards and four touchdowns.

It was the second straight game at Lambeau Field that Love threw four touchdowns, a feat Aaron Rodgers never achieved in his Hall of Fame career. The last quarterback to do so was Brett Favre in 1995.

The Packers are now averaging 27 points per game and 409.7 yards per contest on offense.

Remember, at the end of Week 1, there was a legitimate fear that Love could have been lost for the season with a knee injury. Five games later, the knee injury appears to be a distant memory. Love is moving around fluidly, even picking up 15 yards via three runs as a scrambler against Arizona.

“I felt good today, for sure,” Love said in the postgame news conference, according to Pro Football Talk . “Got a couple of runs out there and I felt like I was running my normal self. Definitely felt good out there and was a clean day.”

Green Bay's offense is also finally starting to find its rhythm.

Running back Josh Jacobs is the bell cow the Packers signed him to be, wideout Jayden Reed has become a full-fledged star and after a strange few weeks, both Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson found the end zone against the Cardinals.

Throw in a defense that leads the league in turnovers by a wide margin and even in a stacked NFC North, the Packers seem to be right back into the mix as a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
