Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane.

On Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills (4-2) made a splash move, trading for five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper. It may not be their last move before the Nov. 5 trade deadline, either.

General manager Brandon Beane is confident his team has a good chance to contend for a Super Bowl. So if other players that could improve the Bills roster become available, don't be surprised if they strike again.

"We're still all-in," Beane said on "The Pat McAfee Show." "If this didn't happen, if Cleveland was not ready to do it, we were going to continue to monitor. And listen: We've still got a few weeks until the trade deadline. If we feel there's something else that we need or can get us over the top, we have been all-in all along."

Some believe Buffalo's acquisition of Cooper was a rebuttal to the New York Jets trading for three-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams. Beane says the Bills are simply loading up following an offseason of change.

"I know we lost some names this offseason, some guys who have been captains, it was an offseason of transition," Beane continues. "But the mindset here as long as Josh Allen is our quarterback is we're gonna try and win this thing, and we're going to do what we can every single year."

Who Buffalo could target next remains up for debate, but it wouldn't hurt to strengthen the other side of the ball.

Through the first six weeks of the season, the Bills defense is allowing the 12th-most total yards per game (350.8) in the league.

Beane confirmed anything is a possibility as they have kept their lines open with several teams that could be looking to prepare for the future with another loss.

"We were having conversations quietly with a couple other teams just seeing where they were at. Every team is in different spots. Sometimes it's, 'If we can win this week, we want to hang in there, we're only a game back or two games back,'" Beane added. "No team wants to give a player away but you're also looking at the now and the future."

In the meantime, Buffalo will deploy its new weapon when it hosts the Tennessee Titans (1-4) in Week 7.
