    Tom Brady.

Rob Gronkowski shared locker rooms with Tom Brady during stints with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so Gronkowski knows plenty about what Brady can offer a club both on the field and behind the scenes.

After Brady officially became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders this week, Gronkowski explained what Brady will bring to the franchise as soon as this coming offseason.

"Tom knows talent better than anyone else," Gronkowski said during an appearance on the FanDuel TV "Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams," per Gayle Troiani of NESN. "He knows how to evaluate a player. I remember just being one-on-one with him in meeting rooms, and he’s going over the guys that are covering me, and he can break them down in literally one or two minutes to the T."

A Wednesday report detailed how Brady plans to help the Raiders "with sponsors and season ticket holders and in recruiting top talent to the organization on every level (including players)." It was later said that at least two "high-up" sources within the New England Patriots believe "Brady’s first move is gonna be to ask Bill Belichick" to replace Antonio Pierce as Las Vegas' head coach this winter.

In short, those who think Brady serving as Fox's lead in-game NFL analyst will cause him to be "a silent observer" as a minority owner seem to be mistaken.

"He can tell you their skill set," Gronkowski added about how Brady evaluates players. "He can tell you their weaknesses. He can tell you their strengths. That’s what Tom brings big time to the table, just being able to know the skill set of a guy and what type of player he is, what types of strengths and weaknesses the guy has and what situations this guy will survive and thrive in, as well."

According to NFL Media's Judy Battista, Raiders owner Mark Davis suggested at the quarterly league meetings in Atlanta this week that he wants Brady to assist in the club's pursuit of a long-term franchise quarterback after Las Vegas failed to land now-Washington Commanders rookie Jayden Daniels earlier this year. If nothing else, Brady has some strong opinions regarding how teams develop young signal-callers early into their careers.

Stability, and a GREAT EYE for talent. We're in the bottom 10, maybe bottom 5. Time to Trade Crosby for some draft picks. Emmett Smith type of rebuild. Slowly rebuild the team through the draft. 2 Seasons of SMART draft picks and we will be right back. Starts with a QB though.
