Police Chase Through Snowy Range Ends In Tragic Death
Photo – Snowy Range highway – Bigfoot99 file photo. A police chase through the Snowy Range ends with an 18-year old suspect from Saratoga killing himself. Late Wednesday evening, a Saratoga Police Officer attempted to stop a green and gold Subaru Outback for speeding in town. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Saratoga resident Ayden Lecureux, refused to stop for the police officer and attempted to flee. Lecureux reached speeds of 60 miles an hour in town as he fled south along Highway 130.
Paw patrol: Laramie County’s new K-9 heroes hit the streets
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office proudly announced the graduation of its latest K-9 teams July 26. These teams have successfully completed a rigorous training program, earning certification in detecting explosives or narcotics. The community welcomes K-9 Yento with Deputy Groendal, K-9 Blair with Deputy Wright and K-9 Yapp with Sergeant Atencio.

TWO 90-POINT RIDES HIGHLIGHT SEMI FINAL 1 AT CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS RODEO
CHEYENNE, Wyo., July 26, 2024 — Two rides in the rare 90-point range highlighted Semi Finals 1 at the 128th Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo (CFD) on Friday. Newly crowned collegiate all-around and bull riding champion Wacey Schalla of Arapaho, Oklahoma, became the first bull rider at Frontier Park this year to score above 90 points. Schalla was matched with Dakota Rodeo’s bull Sneaky Situation for the second time this month. Over the 4th of July Schalla scored 86.5 points on Sneaky Situation to tie for first place in Mandan, North Dakota.
Medicine Bow Museum Prepares For Very Important Visitor
The Medicine Bow Museum is prepped and ready for the arrival of the largest operational steam train in the world. At 11:00am Friday morning, the Union Pacific Big Boy will arrive in Medicine Bow for the next-to-final stop of its Westward Bound Tour. The big steam engine is expected to draw hundreds of people to the small town in northern Carbon County, once an important stop on railroad.
