Violence, abuse, neglect top issues in new community health needs report
JACKSON, Wyo. — Violence, abuse and neglect are among the top issues of concern in Teton County, according to the new 2024 Community Health Needs Assessment. Every three years since 2015, the Teton County Health Department (TCHD) and St. John’s Health (SJH) have compiled a report identifying pressing health needs in Teton County by examining existing data and conducting an accompanying survey of the community. This year, Voices Jackson Hole, an agency focused on immigrant communities in the Jackson area, joined the collaboration.

Dixon Airport Hangar Demolition Bid Awarded To Local Company

In January of 2023, an airport master plan was created for the Dixon Airport. The master plan recommended expanding the runway to accommodate larger and faster planes. The entire expansion project is estimated to cost roughly $23 million, with the Federal Aviation Administration funding 90% of the work.
