Pets of the week
Lots of animals are waiting for “forever homes” at the Yolo County Animal Shelter, 2640 E. Gibson Road in Woodland. Among them is Nelly (A148592), a lovable middle-aged pit bull who has stunning soulful eyes. Nelly was found as a stray at the Ikea in West Sacramento in January and has been waiting for her forever family to come and adopt her. Nelly is very affectionate with people and goes crazy for a good back scratch. Nelly loves to play with toys, especially squeaky toys. Finding her family is too long overdue.
