The Eugene Public Library’s annual Teddy Bear Picnic is this Saturday at Amazon Park in Eugene. The event is celebrating its 30th year. ROSEBURG, Ore. — The Douglas Forest protective Association is recapping current fire activity and reporting a new fire. Tuesday afternoon, a lightning storm trekked across Oregon with over 1,000 recorded strikes. Of those, an estimated 130 made air-to-ground contact in the Douglas District leading to DFPA activating reconnaissance. The agency says has been in initial attack mode since.
