A body was dumped in a shopping cart and torched in a disturbing scene near a Westchester County bridge early Monday, local authorities said.

First responders initially responded to the area of the Oak Street Bridge — at the border of Yonkers and Mount Vernon — for a fire around 2 a.m. Monday, cops said.

Once the blaze was extinguished, fire and police officials made the gruesome discovery of a lifeless body on the sidewalk, authorities said.
