In late May, she opened a coffee shop on North Anderson Road near Cherry Road, which doubles as a kennel-free shelter for cats available for adoption through the Humane Society of York County.
UPDATED-Swimmer drowns in Lake Wylie, 16 year old teen identified
The name of the juvenile swimmer who’s body was found in Lake Wylie yesterday has been revealed. The York County Coroner’s office has released that Logan Gurley, age 16 of Fort Mill was found underwater while swimming with friends. Initially, officers from Charlotte Fire and Tega Cay Police responded to the area of Pitcairn Park on Triton Drive just after 4pm for a distress call. When authorities arrived by boat, they were unable to resuscitate the victim.
