A 10th Congressional District debate between Democrat Janelle Stelson and incumbent Republican Scott Perry will be hosted by WHTM/abc27 next month, the television station posted on its website .

The debate is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the television studio in Harrisburg.

Viewers can watch the debate live on television or through a livestream at abc27.com or the news station's app, the station reports.

News anchor Dennis Owens will be the moderator, and the candidates will be asked questions about local and regional issues, the station reports.

The race for the 10th District seat is one of the hotly contested races in south-central Pennsylvania.

Stelson, a former news anchor for WGAL-8, hopes to defeat longtime incumbent who has served since 2013. Perry, a former chair of the far-right House Freedom Caucus, played a significant role in former President Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

The general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5.

She talks out both sides of her mouth like most lying dems....pushes for abortion because she says women should be able to control their bodies. Not only is this murder, pure and simple, but they sang a different tune when supporting forced vaccinations, and firing those that took control of their own body and refused, including our military.
