    YAIAA baseball players named all-state selections by state coaches association

    A handful of YAIAA players were named to the inaugural Pa. all-state baseball teams, announced Monday afternoon.

    Teams were selected in each of six classifications by the Pa. Baseball Coaches Association. Each of the state's 12 districts had one representative serve on the committee to determine the players on first and second teams.

    Players from South Western, Susquehannock and Red Lion were first-team selections in their respective classifications.

    Here are the York-Adams players named to the all-state teams by classification:

    Class 2A

    Second team

    Brady Dettinburn, Delone Catholic, sr., outfielder

    Aidan Wittmer, Delone Catholic, sr., pitcher

    Class 4A

    Second team

    Micah Smith, Kennard-Dale, jr., infielder

    Class 5A

    First team

    Colby Bealing, South Western, sr., outfielder

    Manny Cartagena, Susquehannock, sr., catcher

    Second team

    MJ Vottero, West York, jr., utility

    Class 6A

    First team

    Connor Lawrence, Red Lion, jr., pitcher

    Second team

    Brandt Johnson, Northeastern, so., catcher
