    Tractor-trailer crashes into York County bank

    YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — Emergency crews pulled a tractor-trailer out of a bank in York County after it crashed into the building Friday afternoon, officials said.

    According to a spokesperson with the York County Office of Emergency Management, they got a report of the tractor-trailer crash into First National Bank, located along S. Queen Street, after 1:30 p.m.

    There were employees and customers inside the bank when the crash happened, but no one was injured, York County Regional Police said.

    The tractor-trailer was parked at a gas station, on the other side of the street, and when the driver got out, it the drifted across the street, hitting two vehicles, before crashing into the bank, police said.

    The cab of the truck was wedged in the bank, but crews were able to pull it out of the building. Photos from the scene from an abc27 photojournalist show the cab went through the front doors of the bank and got stuck.

    There also was no fire from the crash, the spokesperson added.
