    On February 1 2024, the Yorktown Kitty Kats and Wildcats Powerlifting teams competed in the Kenedy Powerlifting Meet with much success and here are the results.

    Kitty Kats: Gabi Romans finished in 2nd place in the 97 pound weight class, Addison Rosales finished in 2nd place in the 132 pound weight class, Zoe Irvin finished in 8th place in the 148 pound weight class, Vivian Romans finished in 9th place in the 148 pound weight class, Zaria Draughn finished in 7th place in the 165 pound weight class and Mariah Alvarez finished in the 7th place in the 220 weight class. The Kitty Kats finished in 8th place as a Team.

    Wildcats: Johnathan Guerrero finished in 1rst place in the 132 pound weight class, Christian Gips finished in 12th place in the 148 pound weight class, Travis Warwas finished in 13th place in the 165 pound weight class, Manuel Macias finished in 7th place in the 198 pound weight class, Justin Guerrero finished in 6th place in the 220 pound weight class, and Hunter Hall finished in 1st place in the Super HeavyWeight class. The Wildcats finished in 7th place as a team.

    Next Powerlifting meet for Yorktown Team will be on February 10, 2024 in Bloomington at the Bobcat Powerlifting Invitational.
