AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - An overnight thunderstorm knocked down trees and brought power outages early Tuesday across the CSRA. The National Weather Service said the storm was a microburst. A microburst is column of fast-moving sinking air that can cause destruction as the wind hits the ground and spreads in all directions.

The flagship restaurant is located in Downtown Atlanta, off Forsyth Street NW. Big Dave's Cheesesteaks was founded by West Philadelphia native Derrick Hayes, who named the restaurant chain after his late father. Hayes opened the first location in a 700-square-foot Shell gas station in Dunwoody, Georgia.
