YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Some Youngstown residents may experience lower-than-normal water pressure this week due to routine water tank maintenance.

The Youngstown Water Department will be working on the water tank on McCartney Road Thursday. The department will begin draining the tank prior to the maintenance on Wednesday.

The refilling process will be done by Friday, according to a press release from the water department.

It said that during this period some people may experience low water pressure in Youngstown east of Liberty Road and Early Road; and east of Fruit Street south of Oak Street and north of Rigby Street.

Further questions can be directed to the Water Department Engineering Office at 330-743-5340.
