YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Y-Live concert in Youngstown featuring Tim McGraw has been postponed due to the explosion downtown and other logistical issues.

The concert, originally scheduled for Aug. 2, has been postponed until Sept. 27, 2025. The country music icon was supposed to perform at Wean Park.

JAC Management Group, which organizes the annual concert, said recent events downtown have led to the cancelation, citing parking and accessibility issues.

“Y-LIVE has always been about showcasing all the amenities our downtown has to offer. Striving for the absolute best experience for the fans, downtown businesses and artists alike has always been at the forefront of our mission. We have decided that postponing this event until next year is the best scenario for all involved,” said JAC’s CEO Eric Ryan.

Those at the company thanked McGraw’s team for their flexibility on the date change.

Tickets already sold will be refunded for the next 30 days, or they can be kept for the concert next year, according to JAC Management group.
