Officers were called about 5:40 a.m. where they found a man badly beaten and unconscious in a parking lot in the 700 block of Kendis Circle.

The man’s face was badly swollen, he was bleeding from both ears and he had several, large knots in his head, reports said.

Reports mentioned a crowd of about 40 people was present, but no one would give a statement. Each person would say they didn’t see anything or hear anything, according to the police report.

Officers also tried calling back the number of the person who called 911 but got no answer, reports said.

The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center by ambulance.
