YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The Summer Festival of the Arts will return to Wean Park in downtown Youngstown this weekend for its 26th annual exhibition.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore an array of fine arts and crafts, showcasing the talents of both local and national artists. From intricate jewelry to captivating paintings, the festival provides a unique platform for artists to showcase their finest works.

“We are thrilled to bring back the Summer Festival of the Arts to Wean Park,” said Katie Merrill, the event organizer in a news release. “This event has become a beloved tradition in Youngstown, providing an exceptional opportunity for artists to showcase their talents and for families to come together and celebrate creativity. We invite everyone to join us for two days of artistic immersion, entertainment and fun!”

The festival will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday. Parking will be available at the Covelli Center. Event attendance remains free.

It comes at a turbulent time for downtown Youngstown, as work to demolish the Realty Building continues and other annual festivals were canceled.
