Police were called about 12:40 a.m. to a home in the 1300 block of Dryden Avenue for a tip that the truck was parked at an abandoned house and covered with a tarp. Officers who responded found the truck underneath two tarps, reports said.

Reports said the license plate had been taken off the truck but officers found the owner, called him and he identified the truck as his after the officers told them what they found.

Although some of the locks on the truck had been changed, reports said the owner was still able to get inside and most of the equipment inside was intact, reports said.

The truck called Food on the Moove, which was reported stolen on July 10 out of the parking lot of a Wilson Avenue bar, was released to the owner.

The owner, Brian Gatewood, identified it as his truck. He said most of the equipment inside was intact.

There is no word on if charges are pending for the theft of the truck.
