YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Valley real estate company is helping the Rich Center with its renovation.

Burgan Real Estate announced Monday its plan to donate over $30,000 worth of electrical equipment to The Rich Center for Autism to be used in Phase 2, of its Building for Tomorrow renovation .

The money will help with work to upgrade interior and exterior lighting at the facility.

“Every person deserves an opportunity to achieve the most out of their lives,” said Patrick Burgan, co-owner of Burgan Real Estate, in a news release. “We are honored to help The Rich Center for Autism, who are committed to improving the quality of life for people with autism every day. We hope that this donation helps in carrying out their mission by upgrading their facilities that will shine a light on the great work they are doing.”

The Center launched its Building for Tomorrow campaign in 2020. The first phase included the addition of an ADA-compliant elevator for the building, an independent living and life skills lab and a sensory-motor skills room.

All the work should be done in about two years.
