(WKBN) — If you enjoy the taste of Italian food, there’s a good opportunity to try something new this week.

There’s an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting event on Thursday night. A Night at the Museum will benefit the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame. There are three tastings scheduled.

About 10 local businesses are taking part, with activities on three levels of the museum, including historical exhibits plus beer, wine and even charcuterie boards.

Among the local vendors will be sisters who started a business importing products from Italy.

“Our goal with Due Sorelle is to bring high-quality food products to this area so we really want to bring high-quality olive oils, balsamics, pastas, so you know what kind of good products you’re getting and what you’re getting in what you eat,” said Lindsey Jeffreys of Due Sorelle Food Imports.

“It’s a good opportunity for the community to taste all of our products and to be involved with about ten other community and local businesses,” said Ashley Foster, also of Due Sorelle Food Imports.

Tickets are still available for the event through Beresford’s Craft Meats and Deli.

The sisters are also taking part in a special tasting with a food truck Friday at Birdfish Brewing.
