YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A company that provides security solutions around the Youngstown area is ready to grow its team.

Signal provides protection. It has over 100 guards who provide a steady, visible presence to make people feel safe at all hours of the day or night — and it’s hiring more.

“We’re always looking for people that want to serve and give a little bit more of a peace of mind back to their community,” said Nate Rackel, Signal operations coordinator.

Signal has two types of guard services — a mobile patrol that drives around and secures places and a static post.

Qualifications are you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, no criminal record and a good work ethic.

“Mostly, it’s just making sure nobody’s trespassing on the property at the time; helping the citizens like at our Walmart locations. If the citizen loses their vehicle or can’t find their vehicle, then we get out and assist with that,” Rackel said.

Signal provides security at places you know, and some places you may not realize. It has full and part-time positions available on all shifts.

Signal is always looking out for your security and protection. It’s also a company that cares about your goals if you have ambition to move up.

“Signal is great. You start off as an advanced officer, the highest you can go as an owner-operator, and Signal will actually help if that’s something that an officer is interested in. They have the officer-to-owner program which Signal will actually build you up until the point you’re ready to become a franchise owner,” Rackel said.

You can apply in person at 9835 South Ave., Poland or online.
