Youngstown’s Shark Tank applications due soon

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Youngstown Business Incubator is inviting local businesses and entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to the YBI Shark Tank to gain investment and exposure.

A minimum of $20,000 in prizes will be awarded as selected by the YBI Celebrity Sharks and audience members.

The Shark Tank event takes place at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center October 24 at 5 p.m. The deadline to apply is Aug. 5.

No more than six entrepreneurs will be selected to present a five-minute pitch at the event. Those selected must be able to give their pitches in person at the event.

Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5.

Apply online on YBI’s website . Sponsorship opportunities and event tickets are also available for non-participants.
