UL training staff keeps players safe & hydrated in summer heat
Temperatures in Acadiana are going to be in the high 90s for the rest of the week but that heat won't stop the grind of UL football practice. Chris Litt, head trainer for the Ragin’ Cajuns, explained that when the student-athletes reported for camp, he got a baseline of each player’s hydration level. Every day since they reported, Litt has the players weighed to find out how much weight they have gained or lost, to make sure they are safe to take the field.

According to Lafayette Crime Stoppers, The DoorDash driver arrived at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe located at 458 Heymann Blvd. in Lafayette to pick up an order on Wednesday, August 7th. Once he secured the DoorDash Order, instead of leaving the establishment, the suspect snagged the tip jar off the counter once the employee went back into the kitchen area.
