Raleigh's Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Donates 176 Fans to Aid Vulnerable Residents Amidst Rising Temperatures
As the heat index in Raleigh continues to climb, the Eta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity has stepped up with a gesture aimed at offering respite to those hit hardest by the soaring temperatures. This past Saturday, the fraternity brothers pooled their resources to purchase and donate 176 fans to the Wake County Health and Human Services for distribution, as reported by QC News. Their philanthropic effort marks an increase from the previous year, adding more resources to combat the effects of extreme heat on vulnerable populations.
