Man arrested in connection to shooting on East Cedar Avenue in Wake Forest
WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — Wake Forest Police have arrested a man in connection to Tuesday night’s shooting on East Cedar Avenue. According to the police, Terrell Larry Crudup, 38, of Raleigh, is arrested in connection with the shooting. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm within city limits. Crudup is being held in Wake County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond.

Raleigh woman charged with falsifying vet records to receive pet insurance
RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raleigh woman is facing a felony charge in connection with a fraud scheme involving pet insurance. Laura Jacquellen Toole, 25, is charged with one count of insurance fraud. A warrant for her arrest was issued on July 11 and she was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond, according to the North Carolina Department of Insurance.
