Visalia changes its city logo for 150th anniversary

VISALIA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The City of Visalia has a new logo for 2024 to mark the city’s 150th year as an incorporated city, officials announced Tuesday.

Officials say, to recognize the city’s 150th year, they are celebrating with a new look and new city logo.

The city says the new logo encapsulates a more modern look with a nod to the original. The design is designed to incorporate the Fox Theater among the Sierra Nevada mountain range with rolling green hills.

The initial response to the City of Visalia’s announcement on Instagram is not positive, with some describing the new logo as a waste of money and not accurately showing the character of the city.
