    2 wanted after assaulting, robbing victim in Fresno, police say

    FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The Fresno Police Department is asking for the public to help identify two suspects who allegedly robbed and assaulted a person.

    Police say on June 26 at approximately 9:15 a.m., a victim was robbed and assaulted by two suspects in the area of Maple Avenue and Tulare Avenue in Fresno.

    According to police, one of the suspects was armed with a handgun and the other suspect was armed with pepper spray.

    One suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old man with short black hair, 5-foot 5-inches, and a heavy build. The second suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old man with short black hair, approximately 5-foot 2-inches, and a skinny build, according to police.

    Police say both suspects fled the scene in an older model silver Honda.
