FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A two-vehicle crash sent a car into the side of a Fresno business on Thursday afternoon and it almost went straight through the building, the Fresno Fire Department said.

According to the Fresno Fire Department, the car crashed into the building on the southeast corner of First Street and Olive avenues shortly after lunchtime.

Firefighters say the car almost made its way out through the other side of the business before finally coming to a stop.

According to firefighters, three people were involved in the collision. One minor was injured and treated on the scene. No one is believed to have been inside the business at the time of the crash.

Fire crews say drivers should expect the intersection to be blocked as they work to remove the vehicle from the building.

Rescue teams will also be on the scene to determine whether the structure is safe.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
