    Student detained after social media gun threats surface at Visalia high school

    VISALIA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A student from Golden West High School was detained after a social media post showed a student with a gun.

    A Visalia PD Youth Services officer says they were first notified of the post on Aug. 26, around 9 a.m.

    3 McLane High School students arrested in shooting near school

    According to officials, the officer brought the student into custody along with Detectives from the Visalia Police Department.

    This is an active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to the Visalia Police Department at (559) 734-8117.
