Do you know this person? $10K reward offered in Merced homicide

MERCED COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – The Merced Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for a Merced man who they say is connected to a May 2024 homicide.

Merced investigators say on May 13, around 8:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Conestoga Drive. When officers arrived they found 36-year-old Dennis Xiong, who had a single gunshot wound. Xiong died at the scene.

Investigators say they have identified several people involved in this case.

Merced Police say they are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Adrian Rocha who is wanted for homicide.

Police say they are also looking for Aaron Ortez, and Ramon Preciado who were present with Rocha during the shooting and are wanted for questioning about this investigation.

The Xiong family was able to offer a $10, 000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of Rocha, according to Police.
