Experience a different Thanksgiving morning at this Clovis event

CLOVIS, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Residents who would like to experience a different Thanksgiving morning running or “wobbling” through Old Town Clovis might want to take a look at this event.

Turkey Day Run in Clovis will allow residents to begin their Thanksgiving morning a little bit differently -organizers say the Clovis Turkey Day Run has moved to Pollasky Avenue. The 30-point race will go through Old Town Clovis beginning at 8 a.m. on Nov 28.

Organizers say the event will include a finisher’s Medallion to all participants, a long-sleeve Thanksgiving-themed t-shirt, hot chocolate and coffee, donuts, free parking, fun fast, and family-friendly courses, age group awards with overall cash prizes, a costume contest, and more.

Participants can sign up for the 5K Run/Walk, 2-mile Walk, or the Virtual Run – Turkey Trot. However, organizers encourage participants to hurry, because prices for the event will increase after Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m.
